How to become a certified NART™ instructor Certification Program is a part of NARTICA

Level I Requirements
  • • Former player
  • • Current or Former Coach, Performance Trainer, Personal Trainer, Physical Educator (with certifications in each of the related fields)
  • • Understanding of human anatomy and major muscle groups, especially the fast twitch muscle groups (biomechanics, exercise physiology and/or physical education degree)
  • •  Read Masters Thesis on NART™
  • • 5 Hours Training with a Certified NART™ Instructor actually doing each exercise and understanding the benefit of same
  • • 5 Hours of supervised NART™ training in which you conduct the training with a Level II or above certified NART ™ trainer
  • • Describing each exercise using practical applications with sufficient explanation to demonstrate an understanding of the program         and exercises [Also, helps you prepare your own training manual for application]
  • • Oral exam by a certified Level II or higher NART™ trainer
  • *30 hours of additional training required with Certified NART™ instructor in actual training classes if you do not have the above background required for regular certification.

  • • Knowledge of spread sheet or table creation programs
  • • Familiarity with statistics keeping and measuring
